BPSC 69th Prelims Admit Card 2023
According to the official notification, recruitment will organize on 379 vacant posts through this examination. To appear in BPSC 69th Prelims Exam, one must have Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Apart from this, age should be between 20 years to 37 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit. Selection for recruitment in various government departments of Bihar will be done on the basis of prelims exam, main exam and interview.
A total of 150 questions will be asked in the prelims exam and 2 hours will be given to solve these questions. There is also a provision of negative marking for wrong answers. Bihar Public Service Commission has now decided to reduce the options for answering objective questions to 4 in the 69th Combined Competitive Examination (69th BPSC CCE). Now negative marking is also being implemented in the prelims exam of BPSC. For this, the formula of one-third negative mark will be applicable. That is, for giving 3 wrong answers, 1 mark for the correct question will be deducted.
It is worth noting that earlier the Commission had started the tradition of giving 5 options to choose the correct answer option for the objective question in the preliminary examination of Civil Services. Now under this new system, the Commission (BPSC) will give only 4 options instead of 5 in the 69th Civil Services Preliminary Examination (PT).
